I guess it's a white-throated sparrow, or at least it's a sparrow with a white throat.

Ok, you guys are right. I tilted my laptop screen downwards and can see yellow in the supraloral area.

Well done, you all got it right. Here's another image from my video. This is an uncommon/rarity in California so I enjoyed seeing these birds feeding with the House Sparrows under my in-laws feeder in Chicago over the Xmas break. It was a nice distraction from the overdose of .... movies I was watching.
