Ethiopian advice

Dear Friends,
I plan to visit Ethiopia this September-October. Do you think the timing is good enough to visit the highlands and the Rift lakes? Also places to stay would be nice to list here. The trip reports available here I checked already. Thanks in advance.

Hello SzimiStyle, the best birding time for Ethiopia is from November-January, where you can get the wintering birds. but September-October is also excellent time to see the most birds in Breeding plumage, specially the Widow Birds on the highlands. September is just the ending of the big rainy season so the highland is green and covered with flowering plants after three months of rain.
