Birdwatching in Kerala

Hi Folks, I am going to Poovar in Kerala, Southern India in December 2008. I have looked at staying at the Hornbill Camp but find it a bit expensive. Has anybody birded Kerala? If so,any info would be appreciated. Thanks in anticipation

Well,accomodation in Kerela is usually expensive. Never been there but its great for birding with many endemic species.Try this site.
