Could anyone help with sorting out which are male, female or juv. and season?

All pics were taken in Abu Dhabi is January.

There is one more that I have posted as a reply.

what lovely birds. first 3 photos show an adult. last 3 photos show an immature with brownish upperparts and pale spots on the wings.

I agree with Bobolink.

The last two images (presumably of the same bird) show that it has started to moult out of fully juvenile plumage, with some blacker crown feathers and wing coverts. I am not sure if you can sex Striated Heron in adult plumage, but I think there is a first-summer plumage.
