I had yet another first for my garden list, it came in the form of a hawfinch!!
For me, to have a hawfinch in the garden is quite special. I watched it for a few minutes in a tree, calling and then it flew off high to the North. Whats going to be next!?

I live in Bulgaria and in spring 2009 a family of 2 adults and 3 young visited our garden. This year we have had no less than 12 everyday at our feeding station. They love sunflower seeds.
