Hi Andy

Went yday - make sure you chesk those tide times. Bird favoured the cliffs under the Fulmar colony and is often quite low.
Went to a wood just south and dipped Black Woodies.
Go on to Birdforum and find the thread under rare bird alert as there's alot of detailed reports and directions on there.
Also Crested Lark at Calais in the car park and Zitting Cisticola in the dunes next to the old hoverport there too.
Good luck

Got the bird today!!! =D What a stunning bird!!! It showed well on the southern cliffs and then it flew the other side under the fulmar colony. Also a bonus was a 2w iceland gull in dover harbour.
Thanks for the info ads, but we ran out of time!!! Ill keep it in mind just incase im ever in that area again.
