Hi all,
my name is Antek (it is shorter version of name Antoni), I am 22 years old and I live in Warsaw, Poland. I have been a member of OTOP (BirdLife partner in Poland) since I was 9 and in this year i will candidate in elections to OTOP's board (so keep your fingers crossed :)
Waders are my favourite group of birds, but my secret birding dream is to see Azure Tit some day. Now I am preparing my bachelor's work about impact of windfarms on birds in Europe.

Welcome Antek; I have never been to Poland but it does "sound" like a grey and rainy place.
I am sure that a lot of people here will be very interested in your Bachelor's Degree work on the impact of "wind-farms" (horrible term!) and hope that you will give us more details.
Best wishes,
Colin

Hi Antek,
Great to learn that you've joined Surfbirds Forums,
I spent a couple of weeks in Poland last Autumn and saw some brilliant raptors there.
Good luck in your bid to become a member of the OTOP board.

Nice Blog Antek, look forward to seeing it expanded. Your English is very good, but grammar is not spelt (or spelled) with three m's!! I very much admire people for who English is not their first language contributing to forums such as this.
A lot of people who are English do much worse!!!
