Hello from Blackpool

Hi
My name is Jean and I have been birding for years and years and years. I have always had someone there to help me, but now do it on my own so I have realised that i dont know much at all. I am trying to extend my knowledge and identify birds, with the help of a good bird guide and the help of a local bird club.

Welcome; I love Blackpool and Morecambe (my "roots" are just a little further north in Cumbria) - you are close to some excellent birding sites up there, especially for waders and gulls.
