That was a pretty good one, I was thinking Nightingale, but now Wren makes more sense.

It was the habitat more than the bird itself which gave this away David, plus that slight hint of barring on the left and the overall colour of what appeared to be a "plump little bird" but with relatively long legs.

Rather unlikely to see a Nightingale on that sort of low perch.
