where to go birding in hants

appart from the solent and totton i havent really been around much in hants does anyone have any good places???

Have you been out to the new Forest much? Beaulieu Rd Station has a train station and always used to be a good bet for the classic breeding forest birds in the summer and perhaps GG Shrike and Hen Harrier in winter. Always has birds of interest. Further afield, there's Farlington Marsh (train and bike gets you there) and Pennington (nr Lymington). All great places for waders at any time of year.
