garden birds or lack of!

up until recently I had loads of birds in my garden, though only the usual sparrows, blackbirds etc then suddenly nothing. Anyone know why this might be?

Could be they've paired up and moved of into their own territories. Or maybe had a bad pussy type fright !

Possibly spring approaching and the winter birds are moving out? Or do you have a new predator in your garden, neighbour's cat or a Sparrowhawk?
