Hello from Wisconsin

I've just joined surfbirds forum to learn more about birds in general. My avocation has been photography since the mid-1970s. In recent years I've become more and more interested in photographing birds and I've read a few birding books but really haven't paid much attention to identification and knowing much about the personal lives of my subjects. So, here I am, hoping to learn a lot more about these wonderful creatures and in the process become a much better photographer of birds.
