Looking at Rich Andrew's superb photos (http://www.cvlbirding.co.uk/photos/bongull/index.html), it appears to be a very confiding bird. Anyone been to see it?

Hi Bobolink I'm not sure if its still about but I went to see it on the way back from devon last week. It was amazingly confiding, pushing all the BH Gulls out of the way to get at the bread people were throwing. Down to 3-4 feet at times.

Went for it on the second day of it being reported, Yes it was very confinding! It was very windy when i went and the bird was feeding in the "surf", people walking past, stopping taking photos but yet the bird was'nt bothered one bit!
cheers andy
