what i am trying to find out is weather saturday was too early to see a yellow wagtail, now my dad saw what he belives to be a yellow wagtail, but what he has discribed seems to be central a europe plumage bird, he didnt particularly get a fantastic view of the throat but he mentioned that the back was a light brown colour with yellow tinge, unlike grey wagtail, im off to see if i can find it tommorow morning so i will have to hope for the best

but what do you guys think?

Wish you luck in finding the bird to photograph it and hopefully share the image.

Well they are arriving now in Europe, I saw a couple here in Switzerland last week, these were "Ashy-headed Wagtail" of the Italian sub-species.
