Hi,
I'm new to Surfbirds. I'm a writer in New York finishing up a biography of Phoebe Snetsinger, which I've been working on for the past six years. It will be published next March (2009). I've spoken to many of Phoebe's close birding friends, but it occurred to me that some Surfbirds members who I haven't spoken to might have met her on the road and have anecdotes about her.
