We're always on the lookout for interesting Bird of the Month (http://www.surfbirds.com/augscreen.html) shots. If you think you have the perfect shot, send us a Private Message (click the "admin" name on the left of this post and select private message).
We're looking for:
1. Colorful or unique or rare
2. Interesting shots - perhaps interesting action
3. Good quality and a digital file. Photo needs to be 1600x1200 in size and well focussed and well exposed.
Photos are available for other readers to download and save as a background screen on their desktop computers and also available for one month as an ecard.
Some of our past cover birds are here (http://www.surfbirds.com/birdwallpaper.html).
Your photo is on the Surfbirds home page for a month and you get credited in the photo and also on the download page. You can add a link to your website (featured photographers report getting from a few hundred to a few thousand click-thrus to their site).
