Went up to norfolk yesterday for a couple of days (spending one of the days in cambridgeshire in the end). Didnt have much luck yesterday, missed black terns (they were everywhere i wernt)!, dotterel, temminck's stint and black stork, but managed to get lesser whitethroat, and artic tern for the year. Had a better day today though. Started off with 3 wheatear and a common sand at cley then later on at stiffkey fen i had a couple of greenshanks, several stunning adult little gulls and pair of temminck's. Later on managed to get a few turtle doves and a black kite (escape?). In the afternoon at titchwell, had a male gargany, cuckoo and monty's. In the end i had a really good two days birding, the weather was really nice too!

cheers andy

Hi andy, sounds like you had quite a good time, where abouts did you see the kite?

Cheers,

Connor
