Here are some pics of the white-throated sparrow that was trapped and ringed at Heysham Nature Reserve by Alan Draper this morning.

The bird was released into some bushes near the entrance to the reserve at around 10 am.

There is of course a ferry terminal at Heysham (not sure if it ever gets boats from the U.S.)!
