Problems uploading to the Gallery

I have managed to upload a couple of photos of swans but the last upload of a sparrow failed.at the last stage. Unable to display page. Tried this 4 times and still no luck.

Am I doing something wrong?

i had the same problem once i found that the filesize was a lot larger than normal, i resized the image and it was fine after that
