Has anyone seen the wierd tern at Minsmere this weekend? There is much discussion locally but I have as yet seen no photographs. I spoke with someone at Breydon today who felt the tern was too long legged for Common Tern, but stout billed for Roseate? I did not get his name but I preseume he is the same person who has posted the comments on suffolk BINS.
I admit I am not a great fan of minsmere and my only day off is selfishly for me to watch birds in a more "Wild environment"
I have flagged this up in case anyone on here as been to Minsmere and seen the bird there.
Why does Suffolk always get the wierd almost unidntifiable birds?
