A friend of mine is going there in two weeks. Any help on the towns to head for or other advice would be great and appreciated. I have been there myself some years back but can't remember place names. Also any links to trip reports would be good.
Cheers

right i can add a little more now including good places to visit as i was on my way to work earlier

the best place that i visited was here (http://www.multimap.com/maps/?qs=le+pouldu&countryCode=FR#map=47.75885,-3.5075|15|32&loc=FR:47.75443:-3.51072:15|le%20pouldu|)

this was where i saw 3 species of crake in 25 minutes, savis warbler, melodious warbler, aquatic warbler+ pec sand, greenshank and spotted sand but being a family holiday i was only aloud an hour there so if you spend the day there i think there is much more to be had

the second place was here (http://www.multimap.com/maps/?qs=le+pouldu&countryCode=FR#map=47.82177,-3.64973|15|32&loc=FR:47.82209:-3.652:15|le%20pouldu|)
same sort of species really except marsh harriers and bea eaters have been seen

and the last place was here (http://www.multimap.com/maps/?qs=le+pouldu&countryCode=FR#map=47.79987,-3.71942|16|32&loc=FR:47.79806:-3.71863:16|le%20pouldu|)

this held loads of different warblers including fan tailed bonelis and dartford, larks and pipits plus the desert wheater in 2003 best thing to do is walk up from kerfanay beach and follow the cliff

hope fully this is of some help

Joe Thanks - but there seems to be problem. I can't open your maps, and as far as i can see le Pouldu is no where near La Briere! Its about 80 K away.
Confused
