Curlew feeding sequence

I prefer taking photographs of subjects doing things rather than standard poses. It adds interest for me and also is educational.
I have often watched these birds on the shoreline, stabbing their beaks into the mud. Today I was treated with a bird and its prey and have put together a sequence of shots that tell the story.

Found a crab!
