I just came back from Oz. I saw emus on more than one occasion. I like this picture taken from the car, however, because I never expected one to just be crossing the road in front of me! Also - gotta love the insect splatter on the windshield (not!) Btw - this was taken in Shark Bay, Western Australia. Enjoy...

Nice shot Deirdra. The emu seems totally relaxed about vehicles - hopefully not too relaxed:eek:.

Thanks for checking out my pics. Actually, I just got lucky with this pic. This was taken on a dirt road in a remote area (Shark Bay, WA). About a second after I took the shot, he took off running!
