Have a look at my Mistle Thrush shot on the common europe birds gallery.
Nothing special but its taken me 45 years to get it.

John,
I have been out and about all this year and have only ONCE managed to photograph one. I am delighted you have achieved it yourself. I know what it is like. Joe Stockwell photographed a Yellowhammer. I had to travel all the way up to the Yorkshire Moors to find one myself. They too are common but the joy in photographing one was in no way diminished.
I have tried to find you image but could not. Can you post it in this thread please.

I'd never made that connection between Mistletoe and Mistle Thrush! :err:
