Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy (and Bird-filled) New Year.

Might be "off air" for a while while as "her indoors" takes me to spend what little money I have left. Just done some sums which show that my monthly income, due to plummeting exchange rate and fall in interest rates, has decreased by 37% in eight months. Needless to say, I am not sending this E-card to Gordon Brown!

Merry Christmas to you all and good birding for next year. I hope we all get through the current financial problems without too much difficulty. Must remember to tighten my belt by at least another notch:eek:.
