I am now at 142 for the year. I did several Christmas Bird Counts at different locations and I just got back from a trip where I saw 102 species in 4 days. Now Remember that I am in Texas and we have a very large number of species.
You can see a number of the species on my blog, and the Lifers that were added. I would really like to hear your opinions so that I can improve my blog. I hope that you like it.

Looks good! There's no hyphen in Collared Dove (and in general, English grammar does not allow hyphens to be followed by capitals), but that's the AOU's error, not yours!

I arrived on 11th with a hour of daylight left and had to leave for the airport at 2pm on 15th. I had two trips with a local guide amounting to five hours and walked God knows how many miles along the banks of the Nile and in the desert. I also managed dawn and dusk patrols on most days. Notable absentees were Grey Wagtails, there are usually dozens in February, Thick-knee Senegal and Western Reef Heron [White morph]. But not bad for a business trip covering a major event for one of our magazines!
