Embedding images in posts

I have just discovered that whilst I can embed images in a post using a PC (by copying and pasting the URL from my Photobucket webhosting site), it does not work using a Mac (although it always has until a few days ago).

This is weird as it lets me embed OK from a Mac. Do you want to post an example that doesn't work so we can take a look and see what's happening?

Thanks for that info Andy, I had forgotten that you use a Mac.

Here is an attempt to embed an image of a Short-toed Lark:

Nothing!!

This must be a problem with my machine.

And now an attempt at embedding the same image from my PBase gallery:

Which means that the problem lies with "Photobucket" and not my Mac :smile:

Anyone else out there tried copying and pasting from a Photobucket account using a Mac?

Hi Colin, yes I see in your post that photobucket is giving you this url of the image on your pc to copy and paste:

http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o100/Passarinhos/Short-toedLark003.jpg

whereas on your mac post, they're giving you this as the url:

http://s118.photobucket.com/albums/o100/Passarinhos/?action=view&current=Short-toedLark003.jpg

I don't know why this should be, or why it should suddenly have started doing this. Prior to a few days ago there was no problem and I have done nothing to my Photobucket account or the configuration of my Mac which would explain it.
