No sign of this bird between 07.30 and 16.00 yesterday. There is a Whimbrel wintering on the estuary, and 2 Water Pipits and a Mediterranean Gull were also in the area.

This bird was again on the estuary yesterday, viewable from the hide on the east side from early afternoon until 15:45, but there was no further sign by 16:30.

A litter clean-up at Budleigh today may have caused some disturbance, and there are no reports either way yet, but the bird has now been present on and off for 22 days, so worth a look if anyone is in the area.

Edit. Still present at 14.00 today - good luck to anyone going for it.
