This is a question about the blogs pictures. I loaded a picture that I had taken as a portrait as opposed to landscape 5x7 vs 7x5. When I downloaded it it downloaded sideways. Is there any way to fix that?

Also, is there an easy way to transfer pictures from my album that I have already downloaded to instead of redownloading. For example, if I want to put a picture someplace else in my discussion, or use it in a later discussion I am re downloading and it is going back to my album a second time. It seems like there should be an easy way to fix that. In order to load a picture from my album, I need to close my edit of my blog to access the album and copy the shortcut and then reopen my entry. Seems like there should be a button to go to my album...

Hi Dave, I'm not sure about your first question - perhaps there's an example you can point me to?

For your second question, yes we should look at the navigation there so it's easy to switch back and forth between your blog entry and your album to add photos you've already posted before without having to "save as draft" each time. One short-cut would be to open a second browser window - with your browser open click File>New Window. In this new browser window have your photo album open so that you can just quickly copy and paste the url info from your album photos to your blog entry in the other window. Make sense?

The example that I am thinking of is the third picture of an American Bittern that I have tried to download multiple times on the Brazos Bend discussion.

Hi Dave, I flipped that picture right side up in your blog entry. It was something like 2000 pixels wide, so in photoshop I reduced its size to 350 pixels wide and that seemed to fix the problem. Not sure if you have access to photo editing software, but it will help if you reduce the size of your pics to about 600 pixels wide for landscape and 350 pixels wide for portrait shots. It will help with both page loading time for your readers and also when you're trying to insert photos in to your entries.

Thank you for your help. I try to deal with size after I download it. I will work on that when I see a problem. Thanks again for fixing my picture.
