Can anyone tell me the names of these birds. A friend in Italy called them 'pigliamoscha' which translates as 'flycatcher'. Could this be right? The nest was built on the wall right next to my kitchen so they do not seem to fear human presence.:puzzled:

They certainly look like Spotted Flycatcher (Pigliamosche in Italian, Muscicapa striata) but I am guessing that the photo is from last summer as they are lateish migrants.
