Changing file name from m4v

I have not been able to upload a video because my file extension is not right for Surfbirds. I use a Sony HDR-SR5 and edit on a Mac. This gives me m4v format although I can choose the size of movie made. Medium gets me loaded up to my flickr account which seems to accept my itunes movies. Hope someone can help.

Re my thread. I got the book out and worked through exporting to Quick time and have successfully uploaded my first small video.
