Hi, Im over in Cumbria end of may and was going to nip to Haweswater to try and break my duck on Ring Ouzels.
Has anyone seen them there this year? If thats not the best spot is there any good places for Ring Ouzels nearby to there?
cheers

Not Cumbria, but I had 6 at a site in the Cheviots (Northumbs) on Saturday. Is that too far for you to go?

I have seen Ring Ouzel on the long trek to the Golden Eagle watch-point, but that was years ago.
You might make enquiries to the Cumbria Bird Club:

The email addresses of the County Recorder and southern Cumbria Regional Recorder are given.

Hi Peat,I was at RSPB Haweswater a few weeks ago......the day that Cumbria had it's earthquake!
The weather was dire and we saw very little....but it's a beautiful part of the country....good luck with your Ouzel search!
