By accident, I read John Hall' trip report on trekking wild giant panda in Qinling Monts.

This year in April I had the chance to Foping national nature reserve to check it. I am very excited i saw pandas three times(at least two different individuals) under the help of several local trackers within 7 days trip. in addition, i saw golden takin, red and white flying squirrel, golden pheasant, koklass pheasant etc..
The purely premitive forests, varied topography, variously precious mammals, hundreds of species of avifauna, these are the attraction for all the nature lovers.
there is a company which especially organises the panda trip in Qinling mounts, i ever got a lot of information and photos from its website.

hope this is useful for you and makes you fun. Enjoy your trips,
cheers,

thanks Rolfyang - very interesting. Jon Hall's mammal trip reports and website are excellent. He does for mammals what birders have been doing for birds for a couple of decades. Great stuff!
