hi guys, photographed this one on cromford canal, derbyshire, I cant seem to id it, im only going off the net though, not got a book yet.

Firstly I totally forgot to pop a thank you message regard the four spotted chaser, so thanks adey.

I believe i have a female southern hawker, and a female Common Blue?

Might I recommend "Field Guide to the Dragonflies of Britain and Europe" by Klaas-Douwe B Dijkstra (General Editor) and illustrated (beautifully) by Richard Lewington - published by British Wildlife Publishing 2006, ISBN 0-953-1399-4-8.
