Hi Alex

Bloody hell! Thought I'd be clever this time and wait for others to help me, but.....

Here goes, time to make a fool of myself:-

1. Initially, couldn't make my mind up between Acro and Locustella (the latter based on pale edge to p2) but in the end fell on the Acro side. Long p2, but short of p3, could mean Marsh or Reed but equal spacing of primaries = Marsh

2. American passerine? Warbler? There's a nagging in my mind that I should know this - yellow on uptcs and pale bill. Nope it's not there...

3. Gull, adult, dark eye and red orbital ring, seemingly short bill - Kelp?

4. Just can't sort this out - Booted Warbler?

5. Graceful Prinia

6. Barred Warbler

7. Empidonax - you done me before on these - Least.

8. Brown Flycatcher.

1/8?

1 and 8 for starters

Reed or Marsh and the long wing point, evenly spaced prims and wing formula are good for Marsh although it might be hard to be definite.

and Brown Fly

Answers now available here (http://www.freewebs.com/punkbirder/theblog.htm)... can we move the discussion onto the Acro (http://www.freewebs.com/punkbirder/lundyacro.htm) (here or on a new thread)....
