Whilst out digiscoping the other day, I pondered on the idea that perhaps one of the 'big' scope manufacturers need to produce a 10x or 15x eyepiece, largely to benefit digiscopers.

I know that the small Zeiss (65mm) has a zoom that starts at 15x and this is helpful; there is also the Eagle-eye 10x (but this won't go on a Kowa or Swarovski). However, as so many birders use cameras through their 'scopes, it would be a great idea if one company 'jumped the gun' and made one. The optics and light going through it would help, with a larger exit-pupil.

Anybody agree/disagree with me.

Hi Brian
Opticron do a 20x specifically for digiscoping, but it would be useful if others did the same. Think 20x is ok rather than needing to go lower.

I have an Eagleeye 10x, and I have adapters to fit my old Leica Televid and Swaro ATS 80 HD. The Easgleeye website is still going, and the adapters are still being listed.

Personally I think the optics in it need updating to keep up with the new batch of 'super scopes'. The Swaro 20x ww is superb and hard to beat in my opinion.
