A moribund individual was discovered near Rollover Pass, Texas, in April 1986 where it was originally misidentified as a Sooty Shearwater. More details and photos of the Texas bird here (http://www.aba.org/birding/v40n6p32.pdf)

What a spectacular.As the saying goes in birding, always expect the unexpected.
