A friend of mine found a half burried Little Grebe (foxprey)
The head and neck was gone but the body and wings were fine.
The body section was about 6".
However all the secondaries were white. After further research it has been suggested that a proportion of the Western Pal birds have this feature.
Any ideas ?

I haven't studied the wing pattern of Little Grebe too much, but I have had the impression that mostly white secondaries are not at all uncommon, in contrast to what the Collins guide (at least the old edition) claims. Can't say anything about how often all the secondaries are completely white, usually at least the outer ones are dark, and the inner ones contain dark patches:
