At Westkapelle, Zeedijk - it is listed today on the DB website, but perhaps as negative news...

The DB site says it's not been seen today but they are still looking. No mention of it today on the waarneming site. Not exactly summer weather here either, with quite heavy rain all morning.

Indeed, it could not be refound yesterday. But with what could be expected with 200 + birders in the area searching for it, several other rarities were found nearby such as a Pectoral Sandpiper and a Pacific Golden Plover, while the (extremely) long-staying Greater Yellowlegs was also still present in that area!

Amazingly, the finder of the Least (Pim Wolf) has found three previous new bird species for the Netherlands (Western Orphean Warbler, Audouin's Gull and Song Sparrow)...

And today - a Roller not far away from the same area!

I've heard rumours that this bird has now been re-identified as a Temminck's Stint. Any truth in this?

To me it looks like a straightforward Temminck's, thougth it was re-identified several days ago already?

Long hindparts, no pale lines on the back etc.

On a somewhat related theme, I had only just come across Vincent's very nice Long-toed Stint photos in Germany from late June:
