How is everything there Michael. Here I keep doing birding as a hobby, trying to see more birds in one single year. Right now, I have seen 742 but Ken Allair is on my tail.

    Keep in touch friend.

    Hey there,
sorry, haven't been around the last 3 weeks.
I do need to check that DVD. I just found it again 2 weeks ago and went "oups".
Problem with me is that I have an attention span of ....well...I don't want to do any animal any injustice....
    Wishing you a wonderful Sunday

They always fly away when I meet them.
Might be because of the dogs though

Thanks for the links. My Internet is having a little weekend hickup again it seems, will check out ebay later.
I knew DPR, but didn't know they had forums too

Before the new Babe I used a Casio EX-P505 with some raynox lenses. I saved money from my sales and other stuff for two years and hubby offered me more than once to get what I want. We thankfully have been able to do so in May. He had been in the States and brought it home for me For the price difference between Kuwait and the US I could have bought a small DSLR or a big lens, they are ridiculous. I don't know the price difference here in Hungary, but I'm sure it's insane as well.

I know what you mean with more exotic
For now I am glad to be here, I know come Spring I will have birds in abundance and can test and train.
I have a Nikon D300 since May last year and a Nikkor 18-200mm lens I use most of the time.
I still need to learn how to use a DSLR properly though. Snapshooting doesn't pay off with that Babe. That's where I wish I was in a different place other than rural Hungary.
Maybe I need to sign up for an online course, but I haven't found one yet, that either charges an arm or a leg or is already crooked from the start page.
    Shrug

    Hi there,
    it's beautiful in Hungary.
We are in a rural area in the South and you can see a lot of wildlife here.
Coming Spring I can hopefully show some more Beauties
We have some great Parks very close by and I'm itching to test my new camera (now I'm only wishing for an even better lens, sigh)

    How's the UK?
