I came across this bird at my local Moor on the verge of dense woodland. I think it is a Wren, and yes I know the photos blurry, but this was taken with my new christmas present. I got some great photos of Great Tits, and Chaffinches, this was my only bad photo and it was due to the quick agile movement of the small bird.
I would also like to say, that the advice given to me about taking a notebook, pen and field guid up to a birding location has been used and I've found I can identify a lot more birds. I've identified about 40 using my field guide since my last ID thread. But, I'm still young and only been properly birding and listing for 4 months now and can't ID this bird!
