This is my first post. Surfbirds is part of my daily agenda. I enjoy all the great photos and always learning new birds in the world. I just purchased a new Nikon L120 21x 14.1 camera and getting good photos of northern california birds where I spend the winter. I suppose I am doing another big year if I don,t get "warbler neck" like back in 2007 when I quit at nearly 500 in July that year. At about 81 now in mid January. Snow Goose festival is coming up in Chico at the end of the month and a lot of the events are sold out already. I could probably take out a group for those late comers who couldn't get signed up in time since I know all the good birding spots in the area. After posting this I'll work on my bird books and then head out with camera and Eagle 10x binocs and see who wants to pose for me!
