    Default Which Pipit?

Photo taken at Salgados Lagoon, Algarve, Portugal today. Bird was a good 40m away, so this photo is something like a 90% crop from the original.
From the Collins Guide I would say this could be a Richard's Pipit, and I know they are around at Salgados. Thoughts?

    Thanks, Ken

For me you're right - seems good for Richard's.

Pale Lores rule out Tawny.Obvious white eyestripe eding squarely.Big thrush-like bill with upper curving markedly near tip equals Richard's
