Default Eastern Savi's Warbler (fusca) in the Hand

We trapped an Eastern Savi's warbler last weekend in Bahrain, which looked a bit odd, to me at least, when in the hand. As I do not have very much experience of Savi's Warbler and have only seen one Eastern race bird in Saudi Arabia and details are not so easy to find on the internet I have posted a photogrpaph of the bird here.

Many more photos in different poses are located here http://www.birdsofsaudiarabia.com/20...h-bahrain.html. These photos may help if anyone finds one in northern Europe or elsewhere where they are vagrants? The first for the UK was one on Fair Isle in 2003 as far as I can remember.

    Hope they are of interest.
