Not trying to claim anything here, more looking for the experience of others. I've seen plenty of well marked Swallows all around Europe but this is towards the far end of the scale. I have lightened the photo a bit to compensate for exposure against a bright sky but the colours look pretty close to how it looked in real life. Anyone else seen anything this extreme?

The colours are still quite hard to make out but the bird appears much darker to the front than normal ~ does this align with ssp transitiva perhaps? Dan
