As you might all know, this is one of the most difficult birds to identify in the WP, even in the hand. The variation shown by this both Oriental and Common Cuckoos is huge, and the situation in Israel should be extremely complicated with eastern Common Cuckoos passing through.
Nevertheless, this bird looks good for a 2nd for Israel (the first was ringed by Hadoram Shirihai back in 1985).
