    Default help to id bird in Norway

    I found this bird in my garden after hearing a thump on the window. It survived and flew away shortly after but i have been unable to find it in my norwegian bird book. Any help?Location near Trondheim, Norway

    That's a fieldfare; thrush shaped with a grey head and rump, chestnut brown upperparts , dark tail and yellow based bill.

    I'm glad it survived!.

    Yes, a fieldfare - handsome bird!
