    Default Mini "big day" in Western Switzerland

    Our day started at 0530 with a couple of Pygmy Owls in the Jura Mountains and continued with a goodly cross section of species including European Bee-eater, various waders (Temminck's Stint, Ruff, Curlew Sandpiper, etc...) 6 Red-footed Falcons, Hobbies, both Red and Black Kites, Great Reed Warbler, Savi's Warbler, Bearded Reedling, Red-backed Shrike, Corn Buntings, Little Bittern, Great White Egret, Common and Black Terns etc. And now to bed!
