    Smile Hello from Norfolk

Hi last year returned to my county of birth to try and improve my Norfolk list. my new patch is 5 miles inland of Great Yarmouth. It is Belton Common, this is where I spend up to five hours a day. On my day off I work Breydon water and Waveney Forest and marshes. my main gripe is that I never find any rare birds. I am also an all round Naturalist with an specific interest in Mycology and Cecidology. I have been one of the square bashing volunteers for both the Norfolk and forthcoming Suffolk Flora and am currently working squares for the National Dragonfly Atlas.

Hi BB, and welcome to the forum. I see you've put your expertise in certain non-bird areas to good use and answered some long unanswered questions. Many thanks, Andy

Welcome to the forum. Your expertise could be of great value to the group. I too have not 'discovered' rare birds never know. Good luck and enjoy.

You never know Peter, it's often when you least expect it.
