HI PEOPLE.as you can see my name is trevor,l Live in stockport cheshire,(UK)
On a recent holliday to tenerife we noticed birds flying late evening,(10/30ish)
they looked white ish about the size of a dove,they seemed to be drifting in the thermals ,making a quite loud squarking noise,we were unable to find out off the residents what kind of birds they were.
curiosity has got the better of me, can anybody enlighten me please.

Almost certainly gulls, but would be pushed to say which species without more info.

Hi Trevor and welcome to the forum. Some sort of a gull seems like a good suggestion.

hi,definately not swift family, they were way too big,and made too loud a squawk. but many thanks for the reply
